Advice to youth from Bilal Erdoğan: 'Do not take those who take the easy path as role models'

Bilal Erdoğan, son of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, attended the "Library Conversations" program organized by the AKP Culture and Art Policies Presidency.

The program took place at the library located in the AKP Congress Center. During the event, Bilal Erdoğan, who made assessments on a wide range of topics from education to politics, and from youth policies to Turkey's global position, offered important advice to the participants.

"A SUCCESSFUL LEADER"

In his speech addressing the youth, Bilal Erdoğan asked them to take his father, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as a role model. "Do not take someone who has reached a position through an easy path as a role model," said Bilal Erdoğan, emphasizing his father's success: "Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is a leader who has left his mark on this century. He is a successful person. He entered politics at the age of 15-16, but he also achieved success outside of politics."

Stating that his father's contributions to the country should broaden the vision of the youth, Erdoğan said, "The capabilities our President has provided to this country encourage us to be ambitious." Erdoğan expressed his desire for Turkey to continue to have an important say in the global order in the 21st century.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF THE YOUTH?

In response to a young person's question, "What is the biggest advantage of today's youth compared to previous generations?", Bilal Erdoğan listed the opportunities available to young people. Highlighting the advantages that young people in Turkey have, Erdoğan said, "There is general health insurance in Turkey, free education opportunities are available, and state dormitories provide a capacity of over 1 million." Erdoğan emphasized that the educational opportunities in Turkey are world-class and said that young people can take advantage of these opportunities.

In his speech, Bilal Erdoğan also made assessments regarding the global order and stated that Turkey has taken on an important role. Drawing attention to global threats by asking, "Are we heading towards a World War III? Where are we going?", Erdoğan stated that Turkey is in an important position for the welfare of humanity during this process.
