In addition to ship accidents, there are also ship attacks; the Russia-Ukraine war threatens the safety of navigation. To date, at least 220 merchant ships have been attacked. At least 9 Turkish-flagged and at least 45 Turkey-linked merchant ships have been attacked, and some have sunk. Even in the last 2 days, the fact that 3 Turkey-linked merchant ships were attacked has brought the issue to a very serious dimension. Our ships are being hit, and there is no sound from the government. They are practically playing dead. They have no policy or initiative on this matter. They cannot keep our ships safe. They are not eliminating the threats to the lives of the sailors. They are acting as if the unmanned aerial vehicles there are hitting unmanned ships. They are ignoring every single life on the ships in the Black Sea and the families waiting for them. I want to express our attention and sensitivity on this issue once again.
'SENDING TURKISH SOLDIERS TO YEMEN SERVES THE INTERESTS OF ISRAEL AND AMERICA'
So, what are our people busy with in foreign policy? They are busy with sending Turkish soldiers to the Yemeni desert; they are calculating this. To put it bluntly, without beating around the bush, sending Turkish soldiers to Yemen is not Turkey's calculation. Sending Turkish soldiers to Yemen is not Turkey's plan or program. Sending Turkish soldiers to Yemen is Trump's plan; it is serving the interests of Israel and America. Turkey should not be made a party to this war.
