CHP sends 'Red Card in Your Pocket' link to its members
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has announced the "red card" campaign he launched against the government. The party is aiming to spread its political messages via mobile platforms by sending a link to its members for the 'Red Card in Your Pocket' application.
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had stated in a recent statement in front of the Mersin Provincial Headquarters that he would announce a big surprise at 15:00. Taking the podium, Özel announced that he had launched a 'red card campaign against the government'.
This move by Özel also drew criticism on social media.

'RED CARD' SMS FROM CHP
The CHP Headquarters sent a link to party members for the 'Red Card in Your Pocket' application. Party members were asked to download the 'Red Card'-shaped screen to their phones.
The CHP Headquarters sent an SMS today to its 1.5 million members where they can download the “Red Card” to their phones. When you click the link in the SMS, the “Red Card” is installed on your phone.

In the SMS sent to members, the Headquarters stated the following:
"Red card in your pocket!
In the market, at the bazaar, on the street, everywhere, we are showing a red card to the government that condemns the retiree and the laborer to a starvation wage.
Click the link, download it to your phone; show a red card to the government."
