The DEM Party delegation, which went to İmralı Island in the morning, completed its third meeting with terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan. The delegation returned to Istanbul following the meeting. The 7-member delegation is expected to make a statement at 17:00.

According to the report in Gazete Duvar, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who is part of the delegation, was the first to arrive at the hotel where the statement will be made. Welcomed with applause, Önder joked with those greeting him by saying, "Am I the first one here?"

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun also entered the hotel where the press statement will be held.
