DEVA Party Provincial Chair resigns and joins AKP
Emrah Çay, who resigned from his position as DEVA Party Provincial Chair, has joined the AKP.
DEVA Party Provincial Chair Emrah Çay has resigned from his post.
Çay, who joined the AKP, was presented with his party pin by Aydın Ayaydın, the People's Alliance candidate for Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor.
Speaking at the ceremony held at the AK Party Provincial Headquarters, AK Party Provincial Chair Gültekin Akça stated that he was very pleased with Çay's decision to join their party.
Aydın Ayaydın noted that they would work hand in hand for a stronger Muğla.
Pointing out that he believes Ayaydın will carry the city forward with his strong leadership and projects, Çay said, "I believe our professor will take important steps for our city. I am joining this movement for a vision of a more livable city with a fair and transparent management approach that will embrace every segment of our city."
