Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu's statement is as follows:
"In the face of this legal absurdity that reason, logic, and conscience cannot accept; I invite all citizens who love their country, bar associations, lawyers, political parties, and statesmen to take responsibility and to stand up for justice and democracy against this lawlessness.
It should be known that in the face of this decision, which is clearly not based on law in the courthouse corridors; these slanders will not stick to us because the sun cannot be plastered over with mud.
This evil has not been done to us, but to 86 million people and the future of this country.
Justice will be needed by everyone one day."
Aklın, mantığın, vicdanın kabul edemeyeceği bu hukuk garabeti karşısında; memleketini seven tüm yurttaşları, baroları, avukatları, siyasi partileri, devlet insanlarını sorumluluk almaya ve bu hukuksuzluk karşısında adalete ve demokrasiye sahip çıkmaya davet ediyorum.
