Earthquake in İYİ Party! Ümit Özlale resigns

Following the announcement by İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener that she will not be a candidate at the Extraordinary Elective Congress, İYİ Party İzmir Deputy and the party's İzmir candidate in the March 31 Local Elections, Ümit Özlale, has resigned.

"I SEE THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PRODUCE POLITICS"

Özlale stated the following:

"Dear İYİ Party Family,

For a long time, I have been proud to work for our country together with you as a member of the Movement of the Good (İyiler Hareketi).

However, at the point we have reached, I sadly see that our party no longer has the excitement of its early days, that it is no longer possible to offer reasonable solutions, and that it is impossible to produce politics.

For this reason, I have decided to submit my resignation.

Working with you and serving on behalf of our nation has always been a great honor and privilege for me.

I will never forget the beautiful memories of walking together with you. I sincerely thank everyone I have worked with during this time. Please forgive me."
