The most popular opposition MPs have been revealed: A surprise from Mahmut Tanal and Cemal Enginyurt
The most popular opposition members of parliament have been revealed in a survey conducted by ORC Research.
ORC Research has published the results of a survey conducted between March 18-28, identifying the most successful opposition members of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). While CHP's Ali Mahir Başarır took the first place in the survey, it was notable that Şanlıurfa MP Mahmut Tanal, who had not appeared on similar lists before, ranked 7th this time.
RANKING OF SUCCESSFUL MPS
According to the survey results, CHP Mersin MP Ali Mahir Başarır took the first place, while Istanbul MP Cemal Enginyurt, who recently joined the CHP, placed second.
In the survey, which ranked 10 MPs, 8 were from the CHP and 2 were from the IYI Party. These results indicate that the CHP is conducting effective opposition, while the IYI Party also demonstrated a strong performance.
NOTABLE NAME: MAHMUT TANAL
The most striking result of the survey was that Mahmut Tanal, who had not appeared on a similar list before, ranked 7th this time. Tanal has made a name for himself with his recent activities as the MP for Şanlıurfa.
Furthermore, while Mahmut Tanal was not on the list in ORC Research's previous "MPs Most Popular Among Youth" survey, he has now made it into the rankings.
According to the results of the survey conducted by ORC Research between March 5-9 with 2,250 young people aged 17-29 across 26 provinces, Mahmut Tanal had not been included in the list of MPs most popular among youth during that period.
