Harsh reaction from Muharrem İnce to CHP: Is this the mindset with which you will bring democracy?

The candidacy of Tarsus Mayor Haluk Bozdoğan, who joined the Homeland Party and became a candidate again after not being nominated by the CHP, and that of Neşet Tarhan, who declared his independent candidacy in Mezitli, were revoked following an objection by the CHP.

Following the incident, Homeland Party Chairman Muharrem İnce stated, "Is this the mindset with which you will bring democracy? Do you have no sense of shame at all?"

"WE WILL NEVER ALLOW THIS DISGRACE TO DEMOCRACY"

İnce's post is as follows:

"You are trying to defeat at the District Election Board the candidate you cannot defeat at the ballot box in Tarsus. You neither make Haluk Bozdoğan a candidate nor allow him to be a candidate from the Homeland Party.

Is this the mindset with which you will bring democracy? Do you have no sense of shame at all? We will appeal this decision made by the District Election Board as a result of the CHP's application. We will never allow this disgrace to democracy."

Tarsus’ta sandıkta yenemeyeceğiniz adayı, İlçe Seçim Kurulu’nda yenmeye çalışıyorsunuz. Haluk Bozdoğan’ı hem aday yapmıyorsunuz, hem de Memleket Partisi’nden aday olmasına engel olmaya çalışıyorsunuz.
