Meral Akşener announces: Hakan Peker is the mayoral candidate for İYİ Party

Making a statement at her party's parliamentary group meeting, Akşener announced some of the district mayoral candidates there. Among those announced was singer Hakan Peker.

Peker was included on the list as the İYİ Party's mayoral candidate for Safranbolu. Akşener pinned the badge on Peker, who was called to the podium as someone with ‘high national consciousness and a lover of the homeland’, while on stage.
