According to information leaked from AKP sources, although Şahin and Temurci have given positive signals regarding joining the party, it is stated that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has not yet accepted them on this matter.
According to the report by Tarık Işık and Mahmut Aydın from Nefes Gazetesi, some figures within the party used the phrase “They are currently in the waiting room” for the two MPs.
On the other hand, it is being discussed that Doğan Demir's participation in the AKP is now finalized. It is claimed that Demir may receive his party badge from President Erdoğan at the AKP Group Meeting to be held in the coming weeks.
