No room for the 'party' in AKP's İzmir strategy! Hamza Dağ removes it from posters
With only a few days left until the March 31 local elections, it has drawn attention that the posters of Hamza Dağ, the AKP's candidate for İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, do not feature the AKP logo.
Hamza Dağ, the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate for the AKP and the People's Alliance, has had posters printed that resemble those of an independent candidate.
According to a report by the Sözcü newspaper, the posters, which do not include the name or logo of his party, have been hung on walls throughout the center of İzmir and all its districts.
Dağ had previously visited Gül Street, known among the public as the 'bar street,' and addressed women drinking alcohol by saying, “Enjoy your drinks, girls.” Dağ also stated that “they would not interfere with anyone's lifestyle.”
