As the local elections approach, public opinion research companies continue their polling efforts.

ORC Research has published the results of an election poll conducted between February 1-3 with 2,650 people in İzmir, known as a stronghold of the CHP.

According to the poll results, while the candidates for the CHP, DEM Party, and IYI Party all remained below their respective parties' vote shares, the People's Alliance candidate received 3.7 points more than the alliance's total vote share before the distribution of undecided voters.

According to the results of the poll conducted with 2,650 people between February 1-3, the vote distribution is as follows:

  • Cemil Tugay (CHP): 38.2%
  • Hamza Dağ (AKP): 34.7%
  • Ümit Özlale (IYI Party): 8.6%
  • DEM Party candidate: 5.9%
  • Naşit Birgüvi (Victory Party): 1.9%
  • Other: 2.1%
  • Undecided: 8.6%

According to the poll results, all opposition parties have declined by approximately 3 points. The People's Alliance, on the other hand, has increased its votes by 3.7 points compared to the election results in May.


NOTABLE DECLINE IN THE OPPOSITION

In the elections held in May, the CHP received 41.5%, the AKP 24.6%, the IYI Party 11.6%, and the YSP (DEM Party) 7.4% of the votes.

According to the poll results, the CHP has lost 3.3 points, the IYI Party 3 points, and the DEM Party 1.5 points. The People's Alliance's vote share, which was 31 percent, has increased by 3.7 points before the distribution of undecided voters.

In the parliamentary elections held in May, the People's Alliance received 31%, the Nation Alliance 52%, and the Labor and Freedom Alliance 10% of the vote.

In the presidential election, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu received 63%, Erdoğan 31.5%, and Sinan Oğan 4.7% in the first round, while in the second round, Kılıçdaroğlu received 67% and Erdoğan 32.8%.
