Pre-prepared list of questions for journalists in Trabzon
A pre-prepared list of questions handed to journalists at an AKP Ortahisar District Presidency press conference in Trabzon has sparked reactions among members of the press.
It has been learned that a list titled "Questions That Can Be Asked" was distributed to journalists at a press conference organized by Yavuz Şener, the AKP Group Deputy Chairman of the Trabzon Ortahisar Municipality.
The list of questions distributed at the meeting included topics such as personnel recruitment at the municipality, debt status, and social security (SGK) and tax payments. Some of the questions on the list requested detailed explanations regarding the municipality's financial situation and personnel policies.
For instance, questions concerning topics such as the differences between entry and exit declarations, dual insurance issues, and personnel changes in 2024 drew attention.
This pre-prepared list of questions given to journalists has drawn criticism regarding press freedom and journalistic ethics.
