The location for CHP's new rally has been announced

The protest rallies that began with the detention and arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP Presidential Candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu continue to grow. The location for this week's Istanbul leg of the rallies, organized under the name "The Nation Protects Its Will," is Sancaktepe.

CHAIRMAN ÖZEL WILL ALSO ATTEND

The rally, which will take place with the participation of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, will be held on Wednesday, July 9, at 20:30 on Demokrasi Street. The CHP Sancaktepe District Presidency is hosting the rally.

CALL FROM CHP DISTRICT CHAIRMAN YILMAZ

CHP Sancaktepe District Chairman Emre Yılmaz invited all Istanbul residents to the rally and made the following statement:

"Dear residents of Sancaktepe, esteemed Istanbulites; we are organizing a rally with the participation of our Chairman Özgür Özel to stand by our Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and Presidential candidate Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was unlawfully arrested, as well as all our mayors who have been removed from office and subjected to pressure. We are meeting on Wednesday, July 9, at 20:30 on Sancaktepe Demokrasi Street. Together, we are raising our voices and growing the struggle for justice and democracy."
