Will there be a retaliation from İmamoğlu to the AKP's election song? That detail in the album went unnoticed!
AKP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe announced his party's election song and slogan in a social media post following reports that former minister Murat Kurum would be the AKP's candidate for Mayor of Istanbul. However, it is thought that if Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu uses another song from the same album, it could serve as a retaliation against the AKP.
It has been claimed that the AKP's candidate for Mayor of Istanbul will be the former Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum.
The candidates will be officially announced today by AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
AKP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe announced his party's election song and slogan for Istanbul in a post on X.
It is claimed that the song will be "Çoğu Gitti Azı Kaldı" (Most of it is gone, only a little remains), performed by Azer Bülbül, with lyrics by Halil Gökkaya and music by İhsan Noyan.
The following lyrics in the song stand out:
"Most of it is over, hey, only a little remains
We burned in the hearth of love
May there always be roses in your arms
In every street of this city
Hey, the trace of our love remains
(We burned in the hearth of love)
(May there always be roses in your arms)
(In every street of this city)
(The trace of our love remains)"
THAT SONG IS ALSO ON THE SAME ALBUM
Furthermore, journalist Altan Sancar drew attention to the song "Ben Seninle Mutluyum" (I am happy with you), which is on the same album by Bülbül, stating; "It is certain that the İmamoğlu camp will use this."
The lyrics of the song are as follows:
"I can never say no to you
I cannot be offended, I cannot hold a grudge
I cannot love anyone else
I am happy with you
I am happy with you
***
Some with mansions and palaces
Some with wealth and money
With the wound in my heart
I am happy with you"
