The groups for the 2026-2027 season of the Transition to Professionalism League (PGL) have been finalized. Kayseri representatives Kayseri Şekerspor and Kocasinan Şimşekspor will compete in Group 3 in the new season.
The league, which will feature a total of 130 teams, will be played in 12 separate groups consisting of 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 teams. The first matches of the season in the PGL are scheduled to begin on October 17-18, 2026.
There are 14 teams in Group 3, where the Kayseri teams are located. The group includes 3 teams from Kahramanmaraş, 2 each from Malatya and Nevşehir, and 1 team each from Adıyaman, Elazığ, Sivas, Tunceli, and Yozgat.
The teams in Group 3 are as follows: Kahta 02 Spor, Kovancılarspor, Afşin Spor Kulübü, Kahramanmaraşspor A.Ş, Onikişubat SK, Kayseri Şekerspor, Kocasinan Şimşekspor, Battalgazi Belediyespor, Hekimhan FSK, Derinkuyugücü, Nevşehir Kapadokya Gücü SK, Dersimspor, Sivasgücü Belediyespor, and Sorgun Belediyespor.
The league fixture draw will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 14:00. Following the draw, the teams' season schedules and first-week matchups will be determined.
