Trabzonspor's national goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır is on the radar of European clubs. Shakhtar Donetsk, one of Ukraine's historic clubs, has taken action to add Uğurcan to its squad under the management of head coach Arda Turan. It is stated that Shakhtar has joined the transfer race for the 29-year-old goalkeeper.
Monaco, one of France's strong teams, is also taking serious steps to add Uğurcan Çakır to its squad. Having previously submitted an offer to Trabzonspor containing 9 million Euros and bonuses, Monaco is preparing for a new move after this offer was rejected. The French representative is preparing to knock on Trabzonspor's door again by increasing its offer to 12 million Euros.
Last season, Uğurcan Çakır played in 43 matches across all competitions and conceded 52 goals. However, he drew attention by keeping a clean sheet in 18 matches. This performance continues to attract the interest of important European clubs.
