Attack on Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan's vehicle

Trabzonspor defeated Kocaelispor 2-1 in their away match, leaving the pitch with a victory. In the match, the burgundy-blues secured the three points with a goal scored in stoppage time. However, an undesirable incident occurred around the stadium after the final whistle.

As club president Ertuğrul Doğan and Vice President Zeyyat Kafkas were leaving the stadium, some Kocaelispor fans launched a physical attack on Doğan's vehicle. Riot police teams, noticing the incident, quickly intervened and formed a security cordon around the president's vehicle.

While President Doğan's security team neutralized the attackers, the vehicle was held around the stadium for a while for security reasons. After the crowd of fans dispersed, the vehicle was allowed to continue on its way.
