Beşiktaş secures quarter-final ticket with 4 goals
In the 4th and final week of the Turkish Cup Group C, Beşiktaş defeated Çaykur Rizespor 4-1 at home to advance to the quarter-finals.
Beşiktaş's goals were scored by Murillo, Salih Uçan, Oh, and Kartal Kayra Yılmaz.
Before the match, a special choreography was displayed in the north stand to mark the 123rd anniversary of the Beşiktaş Club. The choreography featured Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, as well as Fuat Balkan and Ahmet Fetgeri.
SERGEN YALÇIN RETURNS TO HIS POST
Head coach Sergen Yalçın, who could not be on the bench for the Süper Lig match against Kocaelispor due to a yellow card suspension, returned to his post for the Rizespor match.
For the black-and-white team, captain Orkun Kökçü had also been unable to play in the away match against Kocaelispor due to a yellow card suspension.
Orkun Kökçü took his place on the pitch against the Black Sea team after a one-match break.
