Beşiktaş sets sights on Brazilian center-back
Continuing its squad planning for the winter transfer window, Beşiktaş has added Internacional's Brazilian center-back Vitao to its agenda.
According to a report by ESPN, Beşiktaş is interested in Brazilian center-back Vitao, who currently plays for Internacional. It is claimed that Flamengo is also interested in the 25-year-old defender, while it is noted that the player is expected to transfer to Europe.
It was emphasized that Internacional wants to offload Vitao, whose contract expires in December 2026, this coming January.
On the other hand, following the transfer news, Vitao caused confusion by posting on his personal social media account, stating, "No money can buy loyalty." Internacional fans claimed that Vitao made such a post to indicate his desire to stay with the team.
