Developments at Fenerbahçe: Greek coach Itoudis may depart

Fenerbahçe Beko, which had a strong start to the season in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, has failed to secure the desired results in recent weeks. Following their recent loss to Anadolu Efes in the league, a significant development may be on the horizon for Fenerbahçe.

According to a report from the Greek outlet SDNA, Fenerbahçe Beko has decided to part ways with head coach Dimitris Itoudis. The report notes that this development is expected to be made official in the near future.

Appointed as head coach in the summer of 2022, Dimitris Itoudis has not been able to secure a trophy with Fenerbahçe during his two seasons with the team so far.

Last season, the yellow-navy team reached the EuroLeague playoffs but was unable to avoid elimination by Anadolu Efes in the semi-finals of the Basketball Super League.

TWO CANDIDATES TO REPLACE ITOUDIS

It is claimed that if Fenerbahçe Beko parts ways with Itoudis, Andrea Trinchieri and Sarunas Jasikevicius are on the agenda as potential replacements, and that the management will hold talks with these two individuals.
