Dusan Tadic on the path to returning to Ajax
Dusan Tadic, whose contract with Fenerbahçe expires at the end of the season, is preparing to return to his former club, Ajax.
Dusan Tadic, one of the captains who has drawn criticism from Fenerbahçe fans, is planning to return to his former club, Ajax, once his contract expires at the end of the season. This return for the Serbian footballer has become even more feasible following the managerial change at Ajax.
Ajax's former manager Francesco Farioli had opposed the transfer, citing that Tadic did not fit his style of play. However, Farioli's departure has removed the obstacles in front of the 36-year-old player. The Ajax management is keen to add Tadic to their squad, and sporting director Alex Kroes is working to make this transfer happen.
Tadic has drawn attention this season by scoring 13 goals and providing 16 assists in 51 official matches for Fenerbahçe.
