The Fenerbahçe Beko Men's Basketball Team has strengthened its roster with a significant transfer. The yellow-navy blue team has secured the services of Angolan national team center Jilson Bango, who was playing for the Spanish League representative Casademont Zaragoza. In a statement released by the Fenerbahçe Club, it was announced that an agreement has been reached with the 26-year-old Bango until the end of the 2026-2027 season.

RAPIDLY CLIMBING THE CAREER LADDER

Jilson Bango, who began his basketball career with the Angolan team Marinha de Guerra, played for his home country's Premeiro de Agosto between 2019 and 2022. Drawing attention with his performance, Bango took his first steps into his European adventure in 2022 by transferring to the German team Braunschweig.

Joining Casademont Zaragoza at the beginning of the season, Bango made a name for himself with his performance in the Spanish League.
