Fenerbahçe, facing Trabzonspor away in the 22nd week of the Trendyol Super League, left the match with a 3-2 victory. The yellow-navy blues reached 3 points despite falling behind away from home for the 4th time this season.
Tedesco's side made comebacks from 2-0 deficits against Beşiktaş and Çaykur Rizespor, and from 1-0 deficits against Alanyaspor and Trabzonspor. Anderson Talisca and Marco Asensio, who have been carrying the goal-scoring burden for the yellow-navy blues this season, stood out in these matches, and their performances in recent weeks have been particularly noteworthy.
Asensio has played in 18 matches in the Trendyol Super League, contributing 10 goals and 8 assists. The 30-year-old footballer also found the net in the 2 matches he played in the Ziraat Turkish Cup, reaching 12 goals and 9 assists in all competitions, marking the best season of his career.
TALISCA REACHES HIS 21ST GOAL
Talisca, who scored his team's first goal against the Black Sea side, has played with 7 goals and 2 assists in the last 7 league matches. Following the departure of strikers Youssef En-Nesyri and Jhon Duran during the mid-season transfer window, Talisca became the technical staff's first choice in this position and has rewarded them with his contributions to the score.
The Brazilian footballer, who has recorded his 13th goal in the Super League this season, has seen Fenerbahçe win every match in which he has celebrated a goal. This season, Talisca scored 2 goals each against Gaziantep FK, Konyaspor, and Alanyaspor, and one goal each against Kocaelispor, Antalyaspor, Fatih Karagümrük, Çaykur Rizespor, Eyüpspor, Gençlerbirliği, and Trabzonspor.
Talisca, who is his team's top scorer with 21 goals this season, has worn the yellow-navy jersey 35 times in all competitions.
