Fenerbahçe makes move to postpone Konyaspor match
It has been claimed that the yellow-navy blues will request the postponement of the Konyaspor match due to the Champions League play-off matches to be played against Lyon.
It has been stated that Fenerbahçe is preparing to make a new postponement application to the Turkish Football Federation due to the matches it will play against Lyon in the Champions League play-off round.
According to the report in Fanatik, the yellow-navy club will request that the Konyaspor match, which is scheduled to be played on Saturday, August 22, be moved to a later date. It was stated that the application aims to lighten the team's fixture load during the league week that falls between the Lyon matches.
It has been claimed that the Konyaspor side also views Fenerbahçe's potential postponement request positively and is not considering objecting to the match being moved to another date.
Fenerbahçe had previously requested a postponement for the Gençlerbirliği match as well, but the TFF had given a negative response to that application. How the federation will respond to the new application regarding the Konyaspor match has become a matter of curiosity.
