Flash decision ahead of Twente-Beşiktaş match
It has been claimed that Beşiktaş fans will not be allowed into the stadium for the UEFA Europa League away match against Twente.
In the 8th and final week of the UEFA Europa League, Beşiktaş will face Dutch side Twente away from home.
Ahead of the match to be played at De Grolsch Veste Stadium on January 30, 2025, a flash decision has come from Dutch security forces.
According to a report in the Dutch press outlet Voetbal, police units in the city of Enschede have classified the match as a 'high-risk match' and have therefore decided that Beşiktaş fans will not be admitted to the game.
The reason cited for the decision is that Beşiktaş fans have caused incidents during away matches in Europe this year and last year.
It was stated that this decision was taken due to concerns that incidents could occur before and after the match.
