The potential opponents of Galatasaray, which became champion by breaking a record with 102 points and earned the right to participate in the Champions League from the play-off round next season, have been determined.
The Yellow-Reds will play their first European match on August 20 or 21.
Tough opponents such as Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine), Red Star Belgrade (Serbia), Young Boys (Switzerland), Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia), and PAOK (Greece) await Galatasaray in the play-off round.
Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel), Bodo/Glimt (Norway), Ferencváros (Hungary), Qarabag (Azerbaijan), and Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia) are other possible opponents.
If Galatasaray passes this round, it will qualify for the Champions League and receive 15.64 million Euros in participation fees. Additionally, each win in the group stage will bring 2.8 million Euros in revenue, and each draw will bring 930 thousand Euros.
