According to a report in Sözcü, the countdown has begun for the dismissal of Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Central Referee Board (MHK) President Ferhat Gündoğdu.

TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu is expected to formalize the decision shortly.

On the other hand, the name to be appointed as the new MHK President to replace Ferhat Gündoğdu has been revealed.

Barış Şimşek is expected to be appointed in place of Gündoğdu.

Şimşek previously served as the VAR Coordinator and Director of Referee Affairs at the TFF.
