Transfer competition heats up: Fenerbahçe steals a transfer from Galatasaray

Looking to strengthen its defensive line, Fenerbahçe has accelerated its transfer efforts.

The yellow-navies, who are working to sign Mario Hermoso, a player manager Jose Mourinho wants to see in his squad, have set their sights on another name.

The yellow-navy team has submitted an offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Slovak center-back Milan Skriniar, who is also being pursued by Galatasaray.

SURPASSING GALATASARAY'S OFFER

Skriniar, who earns 10 million euros annually at PSG, is set to receive 5 million euros in salary for the second half of the season.

While Galatasaray offered to share this amount with the French club, Fenerbahçe topped Galatasaray's proposal by offering to pay 3 million euros of it. The French representative has not yet accepted this proposal.

On the other hand, it is claimed that Skriniar wants to continue his career in Italy.

According to a report by Fotomaç, it has been learned that Fenerbahçe will increase its offer by another 500 thousand euros.

Milan Skriniar has played in 423 matches in his club career, contributing to a total of 32 goals with 25 goals and 7 assists.

The experienced center-back, who has worn the Slovak national team jersey 77 times, has scored 3 goals. However, due to issues with manager Luis Enrique at Paris Saint-Germain this season, he has only been able to play in 5 matches and has not found any playing time in the Champions League.
