Hull City secures play-off spot in final match

The season has concluded in the English Championship, where the final week witnessed great excitement. Following Coventry City, which had already secured the championship, Ipswich Town finished the season in second place and became the second team to earn a ticket to the Premier League. In the play-offs, Millwall, Southampton, and Middlesbrough will join Hull City.

Hull City, chaired by Acun Ilıcalı, defeated Norwich City 2-1 in their final home match. The visiting team started the match effectively and took the lead with a goal by Mohamed Toure in the 28th minute. However, Hull City responded quickly to this goal, equalizing two minutes later with a penalty goal from Oliver McBurnie. The first half ended with this score.

Hull City increased their pressure in the second half of the match. In the 67th minute, Oliver McBurnie stepped up once again to score the goal that put his team ahead.
