Kocaelispor's message to Galatasaray: 'Where there is fear, there is perception'

Kocaelispor's message to Galatasaray: 'Where there is fear, there is perception'

The written statement published on Kocaelispor's official social media account included the following expressions:

"We are carefully following the statements made about our club by some executives and the technical staff from the Galatasaray side in recent days.

We would like to express with regret that;

some of these statements have not only raised the tension of the upcoming match but have also reached a point that will harm the gentlemanly spirit of Turkish football, the ethics of competition, and the unifying values of sports.

Kocaelispor;

with its deep-rooted history, the strong bond it has established with its city, the crest it carries, its large community, and its honorable stance; is a great value that is respected all over Turkey and holds an important place in the conscience of Turkish football.

The most important strength of this great community is, without a doubt;

the Hodri Meydan fan group, which is the source of energy and motivation for our club.

It should be known that we will never remain silent in the face of a language that targets this community, tries to discredit it, provokes its fans, or aims to belittle our club in the eyes of the public.

Our club;

fights on the field and maintains its dignity off the field.

However, this dignity;

is neither silence nor a step backward.

We leave it to the public's discretion that those who have tried to stir up the environment for various reasons in the past are now trying to drag Kocaelispor into controversies with much harsher and target-oriented statements.

We state this clearly and net:

You cannot grow by belittling a club.

You cannot show strength by targeting a community.

You cannot exist in a climate of justice and fair play by touching the honor of a city.

Kocaelispor;

fears no one, hesitates before no one,

and does not bow down to any person, institution, or perception operation.

No one; should think that they can intimidate our people who carry the love of Kocaelispor in the stands with pressure, perception, words, or psychological games.

Where there is fear, there is perception;

where there is faith, there is Kocaelispor.

If there is Hodri Meydan in the stands and Kocaelispor on the field;

no pressure can silence this crest.

It should be especially known that;

in the match to be played away against Galatasaray this weekend, our management;

will take its place in the stands together with Hodri Meydan, the greatest strength of our team.

Our players, our technical team, and millions of Kocaelispor fans;

will take the field as one heart,

until the final whistle, until our last breath,
