Latest status in UEFA country coefficient ranking
Following Fenerbahçe's elimination of Lugano in the Champions League, Turkey has increased its UEFA country coefficient to 34.400.
Fenerbahçe, having defeated Swiss side Lugano 2-1 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round after a 4-3 win in the first leg, has advanced to the third qualifying round.
Having succeeded in eliminating Swiss representative Lugano, Fenerbahçe will face France's Lille in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
Turkey, which finished last season in 9th place in the UEFA Country Coefficient Ranking, has increased its points to 34.400 with Fenerbahçe's victory against Lugano.
Thus, Turkey has managed to stay ahead of its closest pursuer, 10th-placed Czechia.
