If the American footballer wins the case, Beşiktaş will have to pay 1.6 million euros.
Tyler Boyd transferred to Beşiktaş in 2019. The winger, who wore the black-and-white jersey in 35 matches, recorded a performance of 4 goals and 1 assist.
2.7 MILLION EUROS PAID TO VICTOR RUIZ
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled that the Beşiktaş Club must pay compensation to Spanish footballer Victor Ruiz, who terminated his contract on July 15, 2020. The CAS decision was announced by the black-and-white club with the following statement:
"According to the December 20, 2023 Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decision, it has been ruled that our company must pay professional A-team player Victor Ruiz Torre, who terminated his contract in 2020, 2 million 48 thousand 538.93 euros as termination compensation, and the 270 thousand euro salary deduction made due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including 5 percent annual interest to be calculated by taking the relevant periods into account."
