Napoli are the champions of Italy's Serie A
Entering the 38th and final week of Italy's Serie A one point ahead of Inter, Napoli defeated Cagliari 2-0 at home to become champions with 82 points.

The hosts went into the locker room with a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal by Scott McTominay in the 42nd minute.
Napoli extended the score to 2-0 with a goal from Romelu Lukaku in the 51st minute, leaving the pitch with a victory and declaring their third championship.
Napoli had previously reached the championship in the 1986-87, 1989-90, and 2022-2023 seasons.
Their closest rival, Inter, finished the league in second place, one point behind the leaders, after defeating Como 2-0 away from home.
