Portugal becomes the first finalist in the UEFA Nations League
In the UEFA Nations League semi-final match, Portugal defeated Germany 2-1 away from home to advance to the final.
In the UEFA Nations League semi-final, Germany hosted Portugal at the Allianz Arena. There were no goals in the first half of the match, which was officiated by Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic.
Germany started the second half quickly, taking a 1-0 lead with a goal from Florian Wirtz in the 48th minute. In the 63rd minute, Portugal equalized with a goal from Francisco Conceiçao.
In the 68th minute, Nuno Mendes sent a low cross into the penalty area from the left, and Ronaldo sent the ball into the net to make the score 2-1.
As there were no further goals in the remaining minutes, Portugal left the pitch with a 2-1 victory and secured their place in the final.
In the final, Portugal will face the winner of the Spain vs. France match.
