Leeds United, which guaranteed its promotion to the Premier League with two weeks left in the English Championship season, is planning to part ways with manager Daniel Farke. Within the club, there is a debate over whether Farke is the right person to ensure the team stays in the Premier League.
According to a report by NTV Spor citing Bild, the Leeds United management is searching for alternatives to replace Farke. In this context, Jose Mourinho's name is among the prominent candidates. In addition to Mourinho, Andoni Iraola, who currently manages Bournemouth, is also being cited as a potential candidate.
Daniel Farke previously won the Championship title with Norwich City in the 2018-19 and 2020-2021 seasons, leading his team to the Premier League. However, the Leeds United management is looking for a manager who can ensure lasting success in the Premier League. Although no final decision has been made yet, it is stated that the club management plans to take serious steps in this regard.
