PSG's Leao plan fails: He will stay at Milan
Kylian Mbappe, whose transfer saga at PSG has dragged on for years, has officially decided to leave the club. The French team had turned its attention to Rafael Leao as a replacement for their star player. The Portuguese winger Rafael Leao has responded to the PSG rumors.
It had been claimed that Kylian Mbappe, whose name has been linked with Real Madrid many times, would leave PSG at the end of the season.
Following Kylian Mbappe's potential departure, PSG turned its eyes to Milan's star footballer Rafael Leao. Leao made a statement regarding these emerging claims.
LEAO TRANSFER IS NOT HAPPENING
In his statement, Rafael Leao indicated that he is not thinking about leaving Milan.
The Portuguese star player said; "I will continue my career wearing the AC Milan jersey. I have a contract for the next four years, AC Milan helped me during my difficult times and I do not forget such things. My focus is here. I want to achieve success in Milan again."
Rafael Leao has recorded 4 goals and 8 assists in 24 Serie A matches for the red-and-blacks this season. Leao's contract with his team runs until the summer of 2028.
