Quarter-finalists to be determined at EURO 2024

The Round of 16 matches at EURO 2024, hosted by Germany, will begin today.

Germany and Switzerland from Group A, Spain and Italy from Group B, England and Denmark from Group C, Austria and France from Group D, Romania and Belgium from Group E, and Portugal and Turkey from Group F have secured their spots in the Round of 16 by finishing in the top 2 of their respective groups.

Slovenia, the Netherlands, Slovakia, and Georgia also qualified for the Round of 16 by finishing among the 4 best third-placed teams.

The stage, where the winning team advances to the quarter-finals, will begin this evening with 2 matches. Switzerland will face Italy at 19:00 TSI, and Germany will face Denmark at 22:00 TSI.

TURKEY'S OPPONENT IS AUSTRIA

The National Team will face Austria in the Round of 16.

The crescent-and-star team started Group F with a 3-1 victory over Georgia and was defeated 3-0 by Portugal in their second match. The national team won their final group match against Czechia 2-1.

Finishing 2nd in the group with 6 points, the national team was paired with Group D winners Austria in the Round of 16.
