Fenerbahçe Communications Director Mustafa Sapmaz has announced that he has resigned from his position.

In a statement shared on his personal social media account, Sapmaz said the following:

"I have decided to step down from my role as Fenerbahçe Communications Director, a position I undertook with great excitement and responsibility and carried out with high dedication.

I would like to thank our President, Mr. Ali Koç, and our board of directors for deeming me worthy of this duty, all my colleagues who supported me throughout my tenure, and the great Fenerbahçe fans who always made me feel their love and trust. I wish Fenerbahçe success with all my heart."

Mustafa Sapmaz had been appointed to the position last February.
