Beşiktaş faced Gaziantep Futbol Kulübü away in the 32nd week of the Trendyol Süper Lig. The Black and Whites finished the tough match with a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Djalo and Asllani, bringing their league point total to 59.
Gaziantep FK remained at 37 points. Speaking at the post-match press conference, Beşiktaş manager Sergen Yalçın stated that they were pleased with both the win and the football played.
Yalçın said, "The most important thing regarding the match was the 3 points that needed to be taken. We are now at the end of the league.
We are struggling with our players' concentration. We have one of our most important matches ahead of us on Tuesday. We will play against Konya in the cup semi-final. We are focusing all our concentration on that match. The most important thing today was the 3 points," he stated.
