Sivasspor issues statement on FIFA transfer ban

Sivasspor Club Vice President Mustafa Kurbanoğlu announced that a transfer ban has been imposed by FIFA due to an installment payment from a previous period related to the transfer of their former player Karol Angielski.

In a statement on his social media account, Kurbanoğlu reported that FIFA has imposed a 3-window transfer ban on the Sivas team and noted the following:

"A decision for a temporary transfer ban limited to 3 transfer windows has been taken by FIFA against our club due to an installment payment from a previous period regarding the transfer of Karol Angielski from the Radomiak Radom team in the 2022-23 season.

If the debt in question is paid, this ban will be lifted immediately. Our efforts regarding the matter are continuing rapidly, and we would like our community to know that we will not allow any situation that would negatively affect the future of our Sivasspor."

FIFA has imposed a 3-window transfer ban on Sivasspor, which has been confirmed to be relegated from the Süper Lig this season, due to "financial disputes."
