Statement from Fenerbahçe regarding Allan Saint-Maximin
Fenerbahçe has responded to statements made by its former player Allan Saint-Maximin on a social media platform.
In a statement regarding the matter, the yellow-navy club said, "We have followed with astonishment the statements made by Allan Saint-Maximin, who wore our jersey during the 2024-25 season, on a social media platform.
The athlete's distortion of the facts regarding the treatment process applied to him following a health issue he experienced is an attempt aimed at damaging our club's reputation.
As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, we inform the public that we will exercise all our legal rights against the misleading of the public and the distorted statements directed at our corporate reputation."
WHAT DID ALLAN SAINT-MAXIMIN SAY?
In his statement to the French press, Allan Saint-Maximin had said, "The reason Fenerbahçe could not become champion was that the club's environment was surrounded by non-football factors. At one point, they even tried to dope me."
