Contrary to all rumors in the public domain, it has been expressed during meetings between our President Sadettin Saran and Gökhan Gönül that, in line with the goal of 'bringing back the Samandıra spirit' which he emphasizes at every opportunity, Gökhan Gönül should take on an important role in the general structure of Samandıra and the establishment of a footballing philosophy, rather than just on the pitch.
We have full faith that Gökhan Gönül, who wore the Fenerbahçe jersey with great dedication and success, and who holds a special place in our community with his warrior spirit, character, and stance, will make significant contributions to our club off the pitch as well.
