TFF Arbitration Board upholds Galatasaray's penalty

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board has upheld the 1 million 460 thousand lira fine imposed on Galatasaray by the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK).

According to the TFF's statement, the total fine of 1 million 460 thousand lira, issued due to ugly and improper chants by fans and incidents on the pitch, was upheld unanimously.

The total fine of 370 thousand lira imposed on TFF 1st League team Amedspor for various violations was upheld by the board, while the 110 thousand lira fine issued to the club for using the public address system in a way that supported the home team, in violation of instructions, was reduced to 55 thousand lira.

The 2-match suspension given to Amedspor player Mehmet Murat Uçar for a serious foul against an opposing player was reduced to 1 match.

The 310 thousand lira fine imposed on Erzurumspor FK for admitting spectators to the stadium in an irregular manner was reduced to 200 thousand lira.
