It has been alleged that Rachid Ghezzal, who was excluded from the squad at Beşiktaş, was removed from the team due to an option clause in his contract, despite not having engaged in any undisciplined behavior.
According to a report in the Sabah newspaper, it was stated that there is a 1-year option in Ghezzal's contract and that this option would be triggered if he plays in 20 matches.
It was stated that Ghezzal, who has played in 12 matches this season, is not in Beşiktaş's plans for the new season and that an offer will be made during the mid-season transfer window to remove the option clause.
