The Sultans of the Net defeat Canada 3-1 to advance to the Nations League semifinals

The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team has secured its place in the semifinals of the 2026 FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League (VNL). The crescent-and-star team defeated Canada 3-1 in the quarterfinal match.

The Sultans of the Net, who have reached the finals for the 8th consecutive time in the tournament, did not start the match as they had hoped and lost the first set. However, taking control of the game in the subsequent sets, the National Team staged a comeback and left the court victorious.

Following this result, Turkey has remained among the final four teams in the Nations League. The National Team's opponent in the semifinals will be determined after the match to be played between the USA and China.

The Sultans of the Net will play their semifinal match on Saturday, July 25. The crescent-and-star team will take the court with the goal of reaching the final.
