Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Deputy Chairman Erden Timur made statements regarding transfers to members of the press in Florya.
When asked, "Are there any left-back or midfield transfers? What stage are we at regarding incoming and outgoing players?" Erden Timur replied, "We have a valuable team. We truly know their performance in the Champions League. We have very skillful players. There is a tendency in our country, perhaps even more so at Galatasaray, where we see how successfully Kaan Ayhan is now competing in many positions compared to last year. Barış is the same. We have a captain who plays very well. We do not show patience or give time to the players."
"THERE MAY BE 1-2 ADDITIONS"
Erden Timur stated, "There may be transfers for certain positions. The winter transfer window is a very limited period. We need to take the right steps within the planning of last year's team. Ultimately, if there is a long contract, even if it is for 2-3 years, you are filling a quota. Options are scarce in the winter transfer window. Currently, it looks like 1 or 2 additions. As our coach also wants... If we can find a perfect player, an alternative for the starting 11 who will take on duties from time to time and wait for their turn on the bench... This move will be made when a player at the right level for the starting 11 is found. Clubs do not allow their valuable players to leave during the winter transfer window."
When asked, "Will a striker be signed?" Erden Timur replied, "No. 95 percent of the names written are wrong."
RIDVAN YILMAZ AND ABDÜLKADİR ÖMÜR
Erden Timur answered the question, "Has there been any contact with Rıdvan Yılmaz and Abdülkadir Ömür?" by saying, "I cannot comment on player names. I am sorry, I cannot answer."
When asked, "You said 1-2 additions. How many will be domestic and how many will be foreign?" Erden Timur replied, "I cannot say anything about that."
