UEFA assigns Halil Umut Meler to a massive match!
FIFA-badged Turkish referee Halil Umut Meler will officiate the UEFA Champions League Group C match between Spanish side Real Madrid and Portuguese team Braga, to be held at Real Madrid's home ground in the fourth week of the group stage.
The TFF has announced that Halil Umut Meler will officiate the Real Madrid-Braga match.
The statement from the federation included the following: "Our FIFA-badged referee Halil Umut Meler will officiate the UEFA Champions League Group C match between Spain's Real Madrid and Portugal's Braga, which will be played on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. The match, which will start at 23:00 TSI at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain, will see Halil Umut Meler assisted by Mustafa Emre Eyisoy and Kerem Ersoy. The fourth official for the match will be Arda Kardeşler. Massimiliano Irrati will serve as VAR, and Alper Ulusoy will serve as AVAR for the encounter."
