Hostage crisis in Bursa exceeds 15 hours! He took his children hostage with a knife and has been under negotiation for hours
A father who took his two children hostage with a knife in his home in the İnegöl district of Bursa has been under negotiation by police and gendarmerie teams for over 15 hours.
According to the information received, police, fire department, and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the area following a report of a fire in a building in the Orhaniye neighborhood of the district yesterday afternoon.
While the fire was extinguished in a short time, investigations by the teams determined that Hüseyin G. had set the house on fire with a flammable substance he brought with him.
The teams, which launched an operation to apprehend the suspect, went to Hüseyin G.'s residence in the Alibeyköy neighborhood.

While security measures were taken around the house by the teams, a negotiation team was also directed to the area.
The negotiation team's efforts to persuade Hüseyin G. have been ongoing for over 15 hours.
